Helped build FreeAgent’s first paid add-on: Smart Capture. Contributions included major refactoring of view templates, replacing file upload jQuery with Turbo/Stimulus.
Built default payment options feature to help customers choose which payment provider (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) should be the default payment option on their invoice. Contributions include adding new API endpoints and implementing new journeys on the web app to set new defaults and apply them automatically to an invoice via Turbo/Stimulus.
Buddied a summer intern and acted as the tech lead for their project (e.g., breaking down work into user stories and providing technical advice).
Won hack days founder’s award twice (for most project most beneficial to the business) demoing an MVP of typeahead search for email templates, and a better onboarding journey for creating your first invoice.
